Clemson Men's Soccer Coach Mike Noonan Receives Contract Extension

Noonan's Contract Extended for Six Years

Extension Recognizes Coach's Success and Dedication

Clemson University has announced that it has approved a six-year contract extension for men's soccer head coach Mike Noonan. The extension will keep Noonan at the helm of the Tigers through the 2029 season.

Noonan has been the head coach of the Clemson men's soccer team since 2010. During his tenure, he has led the Tigers to six NCAA Tournament appearances, including two Sweet 16 appearances and a College Cup appearance in 2015. Noonan has also been named the ACC Coach of the Year twice, in 2012 and 2015.

The contract extension is a testament to the success and dedication that Noonan has shown to the Clemson men's soccer program. The Board of Trustees Compensation Committee recognized Noonan's contributions to the university and the community, as well as his commitment to the development of student-athletes.

"Mike Noonan has been an outstanding leader for our men's soccer program," said Clemson Athletic Director Dan Radakovich. "He has consistently led our team to success on the field, and he has also been a great role model for our student-athletes. We are excited to have him continue to lead our program for the next six years."
